Robert Kane began his career in the food and beverage industry nearly 20 years ago as a server at The Four Seasons Hotel at Beverly Hills, quickly moving up the ranks to floor Captain. It was through that two-year experience and rigorous training at the Four Seasons that he knew he had a passion for luxury hospitality.

 

Robert continued to hone his craft and gained invaluable experience with employment at some of the finest dining establishments in the world, including L’Orangerie and Le Bernardin (both Relais & Châteaux), Alain Ducasse at Essex House, Bouley, and the opening team of SoHo House, New York.  Seeking to broaden his experience, Robert segued into catering and events, where he has remained for the last 15 years, designing, producing and executing events for some of the most elite clientele in New York City.  

Robert draws inspiration from his travels (43 countries and counting!), always keeping one step ahead of culinary and industry trends. His background as an accomplished performer brings a dimension of drama, surprise and whimsy to his work. Robert hails from Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
